Like allot of other people, I would like to say... This is an awesome addition to FG, and is really helping out in our campaign.
I do have a couple quick questions... We are using this for a custom 3.5 spelljammer campaign, and I would like to make additions to the selection list for "Climate Zone" and "Terrain"? Since, I am using this to track satellites in orbit (some manmade) having a terrain type of plains (for example) doesn't apply. Also, in a future release would it be possible to add a field that tracks "air quality" (example of selections, good, fouled, poor, bad) on the main tab?
I'd be recording a satellite as a world, not as a location ie terrain shouldn't matter.
And for air quality, what's wrong with the atmosphere ratings (of worlds).
I based a lot of the DOE:Locations on (2E) Spelljammer, so I think the issues you're having are centred around using an incorrect Place Record Type for the "thing" you're trying to record :)
And you're welcome. :)
Dulux, I would like to know if there is any solution to the following problems.
I made a list of items to put creating sales outlets for the characters, so far so good, as this was created in the Fantasy Grounds part of items.
But when I drag the item to the inventory of the store it passes to GP and rounds the values down, I do the conversion and re define the prices and put the monetary symbols of $ and ¢, but when I go to buy the item says that I do not I have enough money.
The shop-function defaults to to "gp" - you will need to record (on the character sheet) "$" and "c" (the symbols as well as the values) otherwise the extension will react the way it did.
The shop-function doesn't handle "making change" really well (yet - I've got to improve things) so you may be expecting more from it than it can do. Why don't you post a couple of screen shots of the items and shop records becuase I'm not quite sure what you're getting at from just your description.
Cheers
Hi dulux-Oz,
I have downloaded your d.o.e extensions, and mainly use Locations and Organizations. In my opinion, you have done/are doing an amazing job with them. I find them very, very useful. I really wanted to thank you for your hard work.
