Effects not working.
I set up an effect for Hellsworn Blessing that following the guide would call for "DMG: 2d8 fire, melee" to apply 2d8 damage only on melee attacks. However, when dragging to the tracker character, the comma disappears, and the 2d8 does not apply to ANY attack.

Either the effects aren't working as intended, or there have been changes that arent reflected in the wiki here
Edit: Also tried changing the order to DMG: 2d8, melee, fire with no change to it working or not.
Further testing, even DMG: 2d8 melee
DMG 2d8 ranged
Neither have the intended effects as mentioned in previous threads/guides. It appears the ranges no longer allows the effect to work.

Sorry, don't know then. I''m not familiar with 4e but this does wok in 5e and both are core based so should more or less be the same. The only difference I see in the Wiki is that DMG also can take a bonus as well as a range and energy value. But I can't see that that is a requirement - only an option.

The concept of range (melee, ranged, etc.) is not included in CoreRPG. In fact, CoreRPG doesn't even have a concept of damage. So these type of effects are coded in specific rulesets in the relevant action manager in that ruleset (the 4E ruleset scripts\manager_action_damage.lua in this case). As such, this could well be a specific issue with the 4E ruleset.

Is there somewhere else I should mention this? I know there's a 5e bug report thread, and a 3.3.0 thread for the test version, but no general or 4e thread.
