How do you import into or create weapons and armor as items in this GURPS rule set?

Oh man, this is exactly the issue I was having. I wanted to add equipment and weapons to my Items but couldnt get anything to work and didn't even have the option of inputing them manually.

Has there been any progress on this as an update?

Yes. You may not have the latest ruleset release.
